These are my FAVORITE crystal bowls. 

Being a sound therapist for many years, I have bought every kind and brand of crystal bowl you can imagine. I knew about the Meinl brand of crystal bowls, but I resisted buying them because they were pricier. But eventually I gave in and bought my first set of Meinl crystal bowls. 

I was blown away. 

I could not believe how much better these bowls sound than any of the other brands I have tried. Not only do they sound better, the sound remains longer and has better sustain. They also sound much better when tapped, it’s a much more resonant sound, and on top of all of this the Meinl crystal bowls are far easier to play than other crystal bowls, some bowls take a lot of effort to play. These are more responsive and better sounding.

3 Mistakes to Avoid When Buying Crystal Bowls:

1. Do not make the mistake of buying all your crystal bowls separately. That way their tuning may be off, even slightly and they do not sound as good together as they should, or they may not even be the same tuning. Always buy your crystal bowls in a set.
2. Don’t make the mistake of buying overpriced and very expensive colored bowls or bowls infused with gemstones. Yes, gemstones are amazing and have energetic properties. But what if you don’t always want or need that property when using your bowls? You can easily add crystals next to your singing bowl set up to add in the energy you desire. Save your money and get powerful and classic white quartz crystal bowls.
3. If you buy white quartz singing bowls you can also always add in color changing light pucks into the bowls when you play, so that your bowls glow with beautiful color, and you can change the color to fit your healing intentions and set up. Or you can leave them beautiful white. With white quartz bowls you have more options.
4. There are crystal singing bowls and then there are perfect pitch crystal singing bowls. Always buy perfect pitch bowls. If you don’t, you risk the bowls being mildly or severely out of tune (either sharp or flat).
5. Know which tuning you are looking for in crystal bowls. If they do not specifically list a tuning they are most likely 440 Hz. If you do not know about the tuning of crystal bowls talk to a sound therapist about your options.

1. Buy white crystal bowls that are 99.99% pure quartz crystal
2. Buy your crystal bowls in a set that is tuned all together
3. Buy perfect pitch crystal bowls, otherwise they can be slightly flat or sharp
4. Buy crystal bowls in 432 Hz tuning, this tuning is more resonating and healing to our bodies, minds, energy, and souls
5. Invest in a good set of bowls that sounds amazing, is easy to play, and will last you a lifetime
